MASSILLON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – Massillon City Council is giving city residents who pay income taxes to outside municipalities, full credit up to the two-percent they already pay.

Massillon Live says only Councilman at Large Paul Manson voted no.

The change is effective January 1.

The tax break is currently at 90%.

Council also gave first reading to an ordinance that gives annual pay raises to elected officials, based on the cost of living.
