MASSILLON, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – There’s another meeting Monday night at 7 at the Massillon Intermediate/Junior High School to explain the options the district is considering to replace its older elementary buildings.

There are three options up for consideration:

  1. Two new P-K to 3rd grade buildings, one east side and one west side.
  2. One large centralized P-K to 4th grade building. No new taxes.
  3. Two P-K to 4th grade buildings with renovations at Washington High. Levy passage needed.

All would involve replacing the current buildings which are 60 to 80 years old.

A survey is also being made available starting Tuesday.

Or residents can call 330 830-7450 starting Tuesday.
