McKernan Leaving Prison in 2014 Shooting Death of Husband

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – She never was found guilty of murder.

Now Colleen McKernan is a free woman.

A judge ordered the 32-year-old woman to be released from the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville on Thursday on good behavior.

McKernan pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter after two murder trials ended with mistrials.

She shot her husband Rob to death in their Massillon home in 2014.
