NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Four men from Massillon, Minerva and New Philadelphia who all work for the same energy services company are charged with aggravated assault.
They are accused of going to a new Philadelphia man’s home and severely beating him.
Those charged are 38-year-old Todd Riordan of Massillon and 36-year-old Jared Soltero of Minerva.
35-year-old Christopher Beatty and 25-year-old Henry Wellman, both of New Philadelphia, were also arrested.
A week ago, New Philadelphia police say the victim had returned to his Fair Avenue NW home from a city bar where all five men had been drinking.
A knock on the door led to a beating that has the victim still hospitalized at last check.
He reportedly will need several surgeries for facial fractures and suffered a partially detached ear.
