MFD: Careless Smoking Likely Caused Small Duplex Fire

MASSILLON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A small fire at a duplex in Massillon Friday afternoon looks to have been caused by what the city’s fire department calls “careless discarding of smoking materials”.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire in the 200 block of 11th Street NE.
No injuries; damage at just $2,000.
