COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Once again Monday, the Ohio Department of Health reported coronavirus numbers that were more like the figures we saw last summer.

There were just under 2600 new cases in the state, with 51 out of Stark County.

The numbers are down nearly 90-percent from the historic highs seen in early- and mid-January.

And current hospitalizations have fallen below 3100.

Here are the Monday numbers:

Mon Feb 7
Ohio: 2,612,719 total cases (+2594)
Stark: 78,748 total cases (+51)
