Marriam Webster dictionary word of the year is

….. PANDEMIC!

With the 27-25 victory yesterday,  the Browns assured them selves of not having a losing record for the first time since the 2007 season.

What’s a bigger surprise, the word of the year or the fact of the Browns haven’t had a winning season in 12 years?

Thanksgiving day weekend means usually two things

  1. Ohio State beat down of TTUN

   2.  Huge numbers at the box office.

Due to obvious reasons, neither held true this year. The biggest movie of the weekend at theaters was “The Croods, a new age” the sequel to the 2013 animated hit generated $9.7 million at the box office. Making it the lowest Thanksgiving day view in modern history.

A New York couple made a huge discovery in their century old home. They had heard  rumors that their home was a bootleg hideout during prohibition. They had never seen anything until they started doing renovations to the home and found over 66 bottles of booze and counting. They found it in between walls & under floorboards. Here’s the kicker, the booze might be worth as much is $1000 a bottle.

From the New York post.

A woman that loves animals houses over 480 cats and 12 dogs. She spends about $8,000 a month in food and vet bills for them & says back in 2011 she dealt with severe depression and credits a cat with helping her. Much of the cost to take care of the animals comes from donations. And you think you got it bad with Frankie and What’s it’s name the cat!

The 49ers are coming off a huge upset over the Rams —beating them 23-20 on a last second field goal. Now face a bigger obstacle. Looks like they won’t be available to host home games for the foreseeable future after Santa Clara County released new COVID-19 restrictions on Saturday that ban all contact sports. It also mandated a 14-day quarantine for anyone traveling into the area from 150 miles away. In short, it left the San Francisco 49ers searching for a new home to finish the season.

And while nothing is set, sources say the most likely option is for the 49ers to play their final three home games at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals.

Mike Tyson battled Roy Jones Jr. to a draw on Saturday night and over the weekend and it drew the attention of  Evander Holyfield. The two battled twice in the 90’s when Iron Mike going 0-2 &  infamously bit part of Evanders’ ear off. Holyfield says it should be on Tyson to reach out if he wants to fight again. They better hurry, Holyfield is 58 and Mike Tyson is 54.

Today’s the day, throw out the Thanksgiving leftovers CDC says optimal time to hold on to leftovers are 4 days. Besides, if you liked it that much, you shoulda finished it by now.
