Moreno Abortion Comments Draw Criticism

LEBANON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Ohio Bernie Moreno is taking some heat for some comments made on abortion.
At a town hall meeting in Warren County near Cincinnati, Moreno said that abortion should not be an issue for women over the age of 50.
Former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley posted on X: “are you trying to lose the Election?”
Meantime though. Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown looks to have lost his longtime lead over his Republican challenger, according to an ActiVote poll.
It shows Moreno with 51-percent of support from likely voters, with Brown at 48-percent of support.
They polled Ohioans over the last month.
No debate between the two candidates is scheduled at this time.
