(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Pittsburgh-based company with plans to purchase and redevelop the former Lehman High School into a senior living facility has successfully obtained a state tax credit.

A.M. Rodriquez has done similar projects with older buildings, especially in the Pittsburgh area.

It’s estimated it will cost over $10 million to renovate the long-vacant building 15th Street NW.

Deputy mayor Fonda Williams says phase 2 of the project includes housing units on property that was the school’s football field.
