New Construction Work Includes Closure on Perry SW

Perry Twp., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – It is April, so we’re seeing more signs of road construction projects.

And as part of the Perry Drive SW widening project between West Tusc and Southway Street in Perry Township, the railroad tracks will be closed near Southway starting Monday for 19 days for relocation of a gas line.

The engineer’s office suggests using Raff Road as your detour.

And look for lane restrictions on Manchester Avenue SW or Route 93 in Tuscarawas Township between Routes 172 and 241 for some drainage work.

Also, continued overnight closures at the Central Interchange in Akron.

Eastbound and southbound traffic approaching the interchange will be detoured 10 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

And the ramp from 77 North to 76 West will be closed.
