New Data Shows Local Unemployment is Down

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Local unemployment is down. Data released today by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says so. Stark County’s jobless rate was estimated at 4.4% last month, which is nearly an entire percent lower from where it was in December of 2018, at 5.2. Canton had an even bigger drop, going from 6.2% in December of 2018 down to just 5% in December of last year.
