New Gadget for Sleeping On Planes

Would you buy a hammock for your head?
From Digital Trends

Anyone who’s travelled by plane knows how difficult it can be to actually get some sleep.

Oftentimes you’re stuck in the “upright position” for hours — and unable to find any comfortable position.

Not anymore.  At least according to the makers of NodPod, a Kentucky-based startup that calls the device a “hammock for your head.”

It launched on Kickstarter, seeking $20,000.  It’s surpassed that mark easily and currently stands at $215,000.

Here’s what it is:

A small slab of super-comfortable memory foam and a couple of strategically positioned cords, which keeps your head in position no matter what kind of seat you’re sitting in. “That way you won’t wake up with a kink in your neck, or with a bit of awkwardness from sleeping on the person seated next to you,”.

They will be available for $32.

Estimated delivery date of November 2016.
