CLEVELAND INDIANS ANNOUNCE NEW

MOBILE-ONLY POLICIES AT PROGRESSIVE FIELD

As of Sept. 1, fans utilizing mobile entry can only use Ballpark and StubHub apps

Cleveland, OH — The Cleveland Indians announced today that starting September 1, 2019, fans who enter Progressive Field via their mobile device must use either the MLB Ballpark app or the StubHub app.

Stock and PDF tickets from My Indians Ticket Accounts will still be permitted as a valid form of entry.

With the new policy in place, screenshots of any kind, including screenshots of MLB Ballpark and StubHub tickets, will not be admitted. Fans must be able to show the digital tickets within the respective app to gain entry into Progressive Field.

Strict adherence to this policy is necessary to protect all fans by reducing fraud and limiting the unauthorized use and/or resale of Cleveland Indians tickets.

Only tickets sold and purchased through Indians.com and StubHub.com will be permitted at Progressive Field.

Please note the following about the secondary ticket market:

·         All tickets posted on the secondary market for resale must be sold and purchased exclusively on StubHub.

·         Any tickets posted, sold, or acquired outside of StubHub on the secondary market may be revoked at any time.

Fans with questions about the new policy should reach out to the Cleveland Indians Fan Services Department at (216) 420-4487.

ballparkRemember to manage your tickets using the MLB Ballpark App. Use the app to purchase and forward tickets, and have your tickets scanned for entrance to Progressive Field—There’s no need to print tickets.
