OHIO (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – With the start of November, many people already have turkey on their minds. However, the Ohio State highway patrol says when you are on the road this month, it is best to keep an eye out for another animal. They say November is the leading month for deer-vehicle crashes in the Buckeye State, with nearly 3,800 deer related incidents taking place just last year on Ohio roadways. Deer are most active at dawn and dusk. The State Patrol says drivers should scan the road and shoulders ahead all while avoiding distractions in their car.
