3rd Straight Day of Record Heat, That Will Do It

GREEN, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – For a third consecutive day, a temperature record was broken at the Akron Canton Airport.

The National Weather Service says the high on Thursday was 88 degrees, breaking the old record high of 87 set way back in 1898.

On Tuesday, he mercury reached 91 degrees.

That’s the first 90 degree-plus temperature recorded in the area for the month of October.

But that’s the last of it for now.

AccuWeather’s high for Friday is forecast at 62.
