CLEVELAND, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Wind Advisories are in effect for much of the eastern U.S., including our area from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Winds could gust to 50 miles an hour.

For Summit and Portage and the lakeshore counties, it’s a High Wind Warning with gusts to 60 miles an hour.

Same time frame, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

The weather service says such winds could blow down trees and power lines.

This would follow severe weather Tuesday night that left several hundred Ohio Edison customers without power for a few days.
