NWS: Summer of `19 Was Warm, Wet

GREEN, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – All that rain in June and part of July makes the meteorological summer at the Akron Canton Airport a very wet one.
How about 15.71 inches of rain?.
That’s 5.76 inches above normal.
And consider that we were below normal for precipitation in August.
Meantime, the temperature averaged a few degrees above normal for June, July and August, at 73.6 degrees.
We hit 90 or higher 12 times this summer at CAK.
