ODA: Two Horses Contract West Nile, One from Stark

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Ohio Department of Agriculture confirms that two horses in the state have contracted West Nile Virus.
One of the horses is from Stark County.
No specific location is being given.
The department says the horse was vaccinated in the spring, but did not receive a booster shot.
The death rate for horses with West Nile is 30% to 40%.
