ODNR Wildlife: Deer Archery Season Off to Good Start

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Over 48,000 deer have been harvested in Ohio since archery season started in late September.

Tuscarawas County is second in the state behind Coshocton County with 1500 deer taken.

974 deer were harvested in Stark County.

A reminder that we’re now at the peak of “deer on the run”, with most car-deer accidents happening in November.
