ODOT Unveils Plan Targeting Congestion on I-77

GREEN, Ohio (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – If you regularly take I-77 into the Akron area, you may have something to say about a proposal to update the freeway at and near the I-277/Route 224 interchange.
ODOT is taking comments from now through September 20th on a proposal to modernize the ramps at the interchange, as well as to add another lane on both I-77 north and south between the interchange and Arlington Road.
It’s a $65 million project that wouldn’t start until late 2021 at the earliest.
