Ohio Annual Tornado Record Broken Over Weekend

CLEVELAND, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – It wasn’t much of a tornado on Saturday, but it was enough to put the state over the top for the most twisters in a single calendar year.

And of course the year is just half over.

A small EF-0 tornado near Willard in Huron County was number-63 on the year.

It mainly damaged a corn field.

A tornado in our area occurred in May.

An EF-0 storm tore up pontoon boats and some boat docks at Leesville Lake in Carroll County before it dissipated over the water.
