COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Ohio House on Wednesday passed bills addressing transgender issues.
The bills ban trans girls and women from playing on high school and college female sports teams.
Schools are also required to notify parents before sexual orientation or identity is discussed.
Doctors would also not be able to prescribe hormones or gender assignment surgery for those under 18.
The bill now goes to the Senate.
