COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – One school safety bill introduced in the state legislature Monday has teachers wearing panic buttons around their necks.
The bill is called Alyssa’s Law, named for Alyssa Alhadeff, one of the 17 students killed in the Parkland Florida school shooting in 2018.
State Senator Michelle Reynolds from the Columbus area brought in Alyssa’s mother Lori, to promote passage of the bill.
If the bill would pass, the requirement would be for public schools across the state.
