Ohio to GM: Pay Up for Broken Promises on Tax Incentives

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The state of Ohio is telling General Motors to pay up $40 million in tax incentives for closing the Lordstown plant in 2019 after promising to keep it open through 2037.
$28 million is to be paid to the state, and 12 million to the Mahoning Valley.
