One dead in Canton Township House Fire

CANTON TOWNSHIP (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – One person is dead from a house fire in Canton Township earlier this afternoon. Township fire officials say rescue crews from multiple areas were called to the home around 12:30. The fire, which was in the 5200 block of Ridge Avenue was put out just after 1 p.m. Canton TWP Fire Spokesperson Scott Johnson says the victim was 67 years old. There is no word yet on a cause or cost of damages.
