One Man Injured, Another Dead in Akron Double Shooting

AKRON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A double shooting in Akron has left one man dead and another man critically injured. Officers responded to a shots fired call at 1:10 PM Sunday where they found two individuals with gunshot wounds at the 80 block of Gale St.

A 28 year old male was pronounced deceased on scene. A 33 year old male was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made. However, it has been determined the injuries were a result of the individuals shooting at each other.
