OSP: Alliance Man Killed in Scooter/SUV Crash

WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – An Alliance man is dead after his scooter was struck at an intersection south of the city Monday afternoon.
The State Highway Patrol says 60-year-old Dan Mayer was hit where Beechwood Avenue SW crosses Route 153 in Washington Township after an SUV ran a stop sign.
No word on any charges.
Mayer was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
