SEBRING, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 23-year-old Salem man suffered only minor injuries when his plane made a crash landing just north of Sebring in Mahoning County Friday night.

The state patrol says 23-year-old Jonathon Sprague was about to land the Piper Cherokee at the nearby Tri-City Airport when the plane experienced engine problems and he went down in a corn field.

The plane had taken off from near Warren.
