OSP: Two-Day Reporting Period for July 4th Fatal Crashes Begins

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The State Highway Patrol began keeping track of traffic fatalities at midnight Monday morning.

They’re keeping the count through Tuesday night at midnight.

Last year was a four-day July 4th reporting period, with 16 people killed in traffic crashes… Seven of the 16 were motorcycle operators.
