OVI Checkpoints Scheduled for Tonight in Alliance

ALLIANCE (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will be paying extra close attention to the roads tonight. Sheriff George Maier says the OVI Task force will be out this evening conducting sobriety checkpoints in Alliance. The check points will be located on the 1400 block of West Beech and the 1100 block of South Union. Officers will conduct a roadside check of drivers for alcohol and drug impairment.
