Pay Raises on Hold for Massillon City Officials

MASSILLON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Elected officials in the city of Massillon will have to wait a little longer for the proposed pay raises that were under consideration.
City council voted 7-2 to indefinitely postpone the legislation during their meeting on Monday night.
The pay raises would have gone into effect at the start of the new year, had they been approved. It has now been more than six years since salaries have gone up for municipal elected officials.
