Perez On The IL With An Injured Shoulder

The Indians have placed starting catcher Roberto Perez on the 10-day Injured List.  Perez had an MRI and it has been determined that he has a right shoulder strain.

Outfielder Daniel Johnson has been recalled from the Alternate Training Site to fill his roster spot.

Perez had 1 hit in 10 at bats in 3 games this season with 6 strike outs.

Sandy Leon and Beau Taylor will take over the catching duties for the Tribe.
