Plain Man Acquitted in 2018 Canton Shooting Death

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Plain Township man was acquitted of murder charges Wednesday in a 2018 killing in the city.
The jury found 25-year-old Curtis Thomas Jr not guilty in the shooting death of 24-year-old Jesse Hill Jr inside a home in the 300 block of 9th Street NE in May of 2018.
Thomas still faces a weapons charge in connection with the case.
