Poison Center Sounds Alert on ‘Laughing Gas’

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – They call it “laughing gas”, but it’s no laughing matter.
The hazing-involved death of an Ohio University student involved so-called “Whippits”, small canisters of what is actually nitrous oxide that can make you high but are also very dangerous.
The Central Ohio Poison Center says abuse of Whippits can lead to paralysis, nerve damage, and even death.
