Poison Control: Big Uptick in Marijuana Exposure Among Young Children

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – With legalization, accidental exposure to marijuana among younger children is on the rise in Ohio.

In fact, according to the Central Ohio Poison Control Center, the rate of accidental exposures for kids age five and under is five times higher than it was five years ago.

Nearly 600 exposures to marijuana among those under 12 have been recorded so far this year in Ohio.
