RAVENNA, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – He’s not backing down.
Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski was back on social media, saying those residents supporting Vice President Kamala Harris for president must accept the consequences if she’s elected.
He had earlier suggested that undocumented immigrants be sent to their homes.
Denise Smith heads the county Democratic Party, calling his words “reprehensible”.
The Secretary of State says the sheriff’s words don’t violate Election laws.
Some residents have gone to the Justice Department and state AG’s office with their complaints.
