Portman Hopeful GM/UAW Strike Ends Well for Lordstown

WASHINGTON, DC (News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – U.S. Senator from Ohio Rob Portman says he’s glad the shuttered Lordstown plant is one of the issues the union is fighting for in its labor talks with General Motors.

Portman says he understands the company is softening its stance on the massive assembly and metal fabrication plant.
