DAYTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – President Donald Trump paid a visit in Dayton this afternoon to speak with those involved with the shooting on Sunday which left nine dead and dozens wounded.

The President made his way through Miami Valley Hospital, thanking emergency crews and hospital staff. He also met with victims and families who were effected.

Dozens of protesters joined together outside the hospital during the visit, voicing their displeasure with the President.

Prior to his arrival in Dayton, the President voiced his disagreement to the claims that his words fueled the hate which led to the shootings, saying “No, I don’t think my rhetoric has at all. I think my rhetoric is a very — it brings people together.”
