PRIMARY 2022: Marlington Levy Fails

LEXINGTON TWP., Ohio (News talk 1480 WHBC) – Cuts can be expected in the Marlington Local School District, where a 7.6 mill, 5-year emergency levy went down to defeat in the Primary Election.

But Superintendent Mike Shreffler says those cuts won’t be drastic.

He says the district does need either more money or a reduction in expenses.

He suggests the levy request could come back later, but he’ll be meeting with the school boad to discuss that.
