Rail Car Leak Near Cincinnati Leads to Evacuations

CLEVES, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – It sounds eerily similar to the East Palestine train incident, though this was not a derailment.

Some residents of the Cleves Ohio area just west of Cincinnati remained out of their homes Wednesday morning after a rail tanker car leaked the deadly gas styrene on Tuesday.

The leak was contained, but there are still fears the rail car could explode.

The incident started as an open valve.
