Recycle Center Now Open on Saturdays

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Canton E-Waste, Tire and Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off Center will expand its hours starting tomorrow, Saturday August 17. The Recycle center will be open from 9 AM to 3 PM on the second Saturday of each month to accommodate the residents of Stark, Tusk and Wayne counties who cannot make it out during week days.

The Center accepts all electronics, including battery operated items, metals, used batteries, paper, cardboard, plastics No. 1 through No. 7, tires both on and off rims, and household hazardous waste.

Latex paint and tube TV’s will not be accepted.

There is a limit of 12 tires per person, per year. No more than 10 tires can be transported per visit. There are no fees for anything residents drop off. More info can be found on their website.
