Regula: Housing Study Needed for Possible Influx of Residents

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Stark County commissioners are looking toward an even brighter 2024.

And with the massive Intel plant going up near Columbus, it’s believed spinoff jobs could be created even here.

So Commissioner Richard Regula says they’ll undertake a housing study, to make sure there are enough places for new residents to live.

That’s for both owned and rented units.

Also in 2024, design work for the $45 to $65 million jail renovation project will be moving forward.
