SARTA Receives Grant to Expand Hydrogen Fleet, Capability

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – SARTA has been awarded a $2.4 million grant to purchase three more zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell buses, and to construct a hydrogen production facility at the SARTA garage.
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s office says the funds are coming from the Infrastructure Bill.
That’ll make it 23 hydrogen fuel cell buses in the fleet, according to the release.
