SARTA Schedules Public Meetings Ahead of Route Changes

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – SARTA will hold a couple of public hearings next week on changes to ten of its regular routes.

The biggest change involves route 139, which will make stops at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in NE Canton.

Another route will also make stops at Amazon.

Also, routes 131 and 133 are changing stop locations in Alliance.

The public hearings are virtual next Monday and in person next Wednesday at the Stark County District Library branch in downtown Canton.

The changes take effect in May or June.

The virtual meetings will be held on SARTA’s Facebook page through Facebook LIVE (Monday, April 24th, 2023 @ 9:30AM and 3:00PM).

And the in-person meeting will be held at the Stark County District Library in the McKinley Room (Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 @ 4:00PM).
