Scattered Impacts from Latest Round of Storms

(News/Talk 1480 WHBC) – More severe weather in the area Thursday afternoon, though the impact was more scattered.
There was a tornado warning issued for Carroll County for a severe storm in the Minerva area, but no tornadic-related damage was reported to law enforcement.
The roof was blown off a restaurant building in Streetsboro, while a number of trees came down in Doylestown, including a tree on house.
Also, trees were down in the Berlin Lake area.
Play at the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship at the Firestone Country Club had to be halted Thursday afternoon because of lightning.
Flood advisories were up for a time for Summit and southeast Stark Counties with an estimated 3 inches of rainfall.
A tornado warning was in effect for Carroll County, but no damage or injuries were reported.
No injuries reported.
