Schuring Explains Canton and Akron’s “Metroplex” Concept

State Senator Kirk Schuring spoke to Gary Rivers Tuesday morning on WHBC about the new initiative to market the Canton area, in cooperation with Akron, to form, what in effect, becomes the fourth most populous region in the state, behind Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus.

Schuring and a contingent of  government and business leaders from Stark and Summit counties have been holding meetings for approximately a year to more effectively market our region.  The most recent meeting was held at the Twisted Olive Restaurant.
