SCSO: Deputies Arrest Costumed Man With Knife on Route 30

CANTON TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Seems a little early for this.
But a Canton man wearing a Halloween costume related to the Scream movie series was arrested by Stark County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday morning.
Problem is, 35-year-old Jacob Weisgarber was also carrying a knife.
He was even holding it in a threatening way when deputies arrived on the scene along Raff Road SW near 13th Street in Canton Township.
Weisgarber was able to run all the way to the Route 30 freeway where deputies stopped traffic and used their Taser.
He’s charged with felony aggravated menacing.
He was not injured.
