Search Continues for Wanted Man Seen at One Point in Uniontown

GREEN, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The search for an Akron man over the weekend led Uniontown police and Summit County sheriff’s deputies to evacuate Uniontown Community Park off Cleveland Avenue NW for a time on Saturday.

They also madvised neighbors to stay inside for a time, though police now believe 48-year-old Richard Klisz is no longer in The Uniontown area.

The search continues at last check for Klisz.

He’s wanted on five different charges out of an incident in the city of Green Saturday morning.

Two charges are felonies.

Deputies say Klisz initially went to a home in Green Saturday morning in violation of a protection order then ran off after police arrived.

He was believed to be armed.
