Sears to Completely Disappear from Belden

JACKSON TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The company that operates the Sears store in the Belden Village Mall has filed a 60-day WARN notice with the state.
The 60-day notice indicates that the remaining 78 employees at the store will lose their jobs beginning January 14, with the store closing at about that time.
70 people work in the store, with eight in the adjacent automotive center.
The store had downsized recently to the first floor, allowing a Dave and Busters to locate on the second floor.
The restaurant will open in early November.
