Standoff With Suicidal Canton Man Ends Peacefully

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A Canton man was initially taken to the hospital after an hours-long standoff at his home on Monday.

A Canton police spokesman says the man was suicidal and made comments about shooting at law enforcement.

JordanMillerNews reports the man was also believed to be armed.

He gave up peacefully after the SWAT team was called in.

That incident in the 2500 block of East Tusc.
